I'm no lip reader, but i think Gretzky just turned that game into less than a family show.lol, but in all fairness, the puck should have been dropped and therefore it should have stayed a goal. I'm a little against video reviews for that reason, If the ref says its a goal, its a goal. Leave it alone and play, so what if every once in a blue moon its a terrible call, you'll recover.
I couldnt believe that, that goal fooled everyone? even the goalie thought it was a goal and put his hands in the air. The fans were booing because they thought it was a goal. The guy who scored it was walking with pride back to his bench when he thought he scored it, and most of all, this shot even fooled the tv announcers and the people who air the program. The second he puts his arms in the air signaling "I Scored" the scoreboard thing on the top changed immidiatly. I agree with you though Alex, that should of stood as a goal, the refs should of dropped the puck. The question that they must ask them selfs now is "if we would of scored that goal, would we have won?" they were down 4-1 and if that goal counted it would of been made 4-2. And in all my years of watching hockey in all different leagues ive seen alot of 2 goal leads be given up! anyways I thought that video was kinda interesting so I posted it on here. What do you guys think of my idea for making THE HOCKEY NEWS my 3rd post?
nice.
