The Analysis Volume 1 Issue #2 *BATTLE OF THE HILL SPECIAL EDITION 1*

STU vs. UNB, The Battle of the Hill. Who will reign supreme on this night? The final answer, UNB by a score of 3-0. The Game was well played in the first period, STU seemed to have the advantage for the better part of the period. UNB's passing was absolutely toxic and STU caught them everytime. To the benefit of the V-Reds, Ouzaz kept them in it with some stellar saves. UNB managed to squeak out of period 1 ahead by a goal. Then came the second when UNB up and decided it was time to play some serious hockey. There was no massive offensive explosion but they killed a long 5-3 penalty and many other penalties rendering STU's powerplay completely useless. UNB played an excellent shorthanded game on this night. They arrived at a score of 2-0 by the end of the second despite phenomenal efforts between the STU goalposts. The third was when the game just ran away from the Tommies, the V-Reds had managed to wear this power house team down to the rims and just walked all over them in the third period. With another single goal, UNB tied this one up in a pretty little box in the third. The V-Reds played a worthy game and as a result handed the Tommies their first loss in the past 8 games and have become the only team to shut STU out this season. As good as it was to see STU humbled at the hands of UNB, I still must say that the whole game was officiated in a rather poor manner. There were calls missed on both sides, penalties that should have been called and weren't. Calls were made on both sides when the whole crowd was left scratching their heads and wondering where the penalty was. It was pure Mick Magough style officiating on a minor league level. Fortunately UNB was able to walk off the bad calls a little better than STU, played a better game, and ultimately, came out on top. The Battle of The Hill will return again this season, in the end who will be crowned King of the Hill? We will have to wait and see. It should be interesting.

It wont be interesting at all. UNB OWNS! and they will continue too. Thats sad though, 8 Game winning streak coming to an end to UNB and all, Jacob you have to feel a little, you know, sad. Especially after all the big talk coming into the game. Now what do you have to say big guy? your team scored absolutely nothing on the RED HOT OUZAZ!
